2. Hosting through OpenAI / ChatGPT Sites

This website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites / OpenAI Sites. When the website is accessed, technically necessary data may be processed to deliver the website, maintain security and operate the hosting infrastructure. This may include the IP address, access date and time, requested page or file, browser and device information, referrer URL, transferred data volume and technical security or error logs.

Under the ChatGPT Sites Terms and Data Processing Addendum, OpenAI hosts published ChatGPT Sites on behalf of the site creator. Where a published site collects personal data as Hosted Data, the site creator is the controller and OpenAI processes that Hosted Data as a processor for hosting, maintaining and supporting the site. For users based in the EEA or Switzerland, the relevant OpenAI entity is OpenAI Ireland Ltd.

The legal basis for technically necessary hosting and security processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, stable and efficient delivery of this website. Where processing is necessary for a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may also apply.

OpenAI may use sub-processors and process data outside the EEA. Where applicable, transfers are based on safeguards described in the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

3. Email contact through Zoho Mail

If you contact EliteCarsNG by email, we process the information you provide, including your email address, name where provided, message content and technical email metadata needed to send and receive email. Email communication is handled through Zoho Mail.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract, purchase, support request or pre-contractual steps. Otherwise, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and managing business communication.

Email data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry and follow-up questions. Business correspondence may be retained longer where statutory retention duties or legal claims require it. More information is available in the Zoho Privacy Policy.

4. Purchases through Gumroad

When purchasing is activated, this website will link to Gumroad for checkout, payment and digital product delivery. After leaving this website, Gumroad's terms, privacy policy and checkout rules apply.

Gumroad's terms describe Merchant of Record services and a reseller model for eligible digital products. Gumroad may handle payment, tax-related processing, invoices, refund requests, chargebacks and digital delivery. EliteCarsNG may receive order information needed for fulfilment, support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations, including name, email address, purchased product and transaction data.

Processing required for purchase, fulfilment or support is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies to legal obligations, while Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may apply to fraud prevention and legal claims. Purchase records may be retained for applicable statutory periods.

5. External social media links

This website contains ordinary links to EliteCarsNG profiles on YouTube, TikTok and Facebook. No social media feeds or videos are embedded. When you follow a link, you leave this website and the respective platform processes data under its own privacy policy.

6. Cookies, analytics and embedded media

ChatGPT Sites automatically records basic traffic metrics for deployed Sites, including unique visitors and page views. EliteCarsNG can review these aggregated metrics in ChatGPT Sites. EliteCarsNG does not add a separate analytics SDK, advertising tracker or marketing pixel.

This website does not currently use newsletter forms, user accounts, contact forms, social media embeds or embedded videos. Fonts and images are served locally where possible; Google Fonts are not loaded from Google servers. Technically necessary hosting and security technologies may be used to deliver and protect the site.

To the extent that traffic metrics or related technical data constitute personal data, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the legitimate interests in basic audience measurement and the secure, stable and efficient operation of the website. If additional non-essential cookies, analytics, embedded media or advertising technologies are added later, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where legally required.

7. Recipients and international transfers

Where necessary, personal data may be processed by OpenAI / ChatGPT Sites and its sub-processors, Zoho Mail, Gumroad, professional tax, accounting or legal service providers, and public authorities where legally required. Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

8. Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, operation and security, statutory retention duties, legal claims or abuse prevention. Different retention periods may apply to hosting logs, correspondence and purchase records.

9. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

10. Obligation to provide data

You do not have to provide personal data to use the informational parts of this website. If you contact EliteCarsNG or purchase through Gumroad, the information necessary for communication, checkout, fulfilment and support must be processed; otherwise the request or purchase cannot be handled.
